Welcome to Stockholm University! We are your Student Union and we hope you will be joining us! During the first weeks of the autumn semester 2019 we, and several other student organizations on campus, arrange activities to welcome all new students at Stockholm University.

IKEA trip. We invite all newly arrived students at Stockholm University to join our free bus trip to IKEA Barkaby! Departure times are 10 am and and 11 am, respectively, from the big parking lot behind Studenthuset/Södra huset. Please sign up on August 25 latest to participate in this event.


SUS Amazing Race between 2 pm and 5 pm. We will meet up by Universitetet metro entrance 1.45 pm. You'll get a map of Stockholm University campus area and the task is to get from place A to B. At each stop you'll get information about the place and a task to complete. Finish this task according to the instructions and win points - and make sure your team is the best! Orientation Day for international students and Speed friending in English. Come to our speed friending and meet new friends! 12.30 pm at Rotundan. Pub Crawl at 4 pm with meet-up outside Aula Magna. Read more about Orientation Day here.

Friday the 30th of AUGUST

Välkomstdagen (Welcome Day) for Swedish students. Speed friending in Swedish at 2 pm in Rotundan. Pub Crawl at 4 pm with meet-up outside Aula Magna

FRIDAY the 30th of AUGUST

Guided campus tours with both English-speaking and Swedish-speaking guides. We will lead your way through Frescati Campus. There are two different tours, one starts at 1 pm and the other at 3 pm outside Aula Magna.

Monday the 2ND of SEPTEMBER

Survival presentation. Would you like to know more about how to make the most of your stay in Stockholm? Then this event is for you! Södra huset, Hörsal D8, at 5.30 pm-7 pm.
