Cha-Cha-Cha Workshop

Shall we dance?

Learn the basics of cha-cha-cha! This workshop is open for all regardless of your dance background.

What is cha-cha-cha? It’s a pair dance originating in Cuba. Modern cha-cha-cha is part of the Latin American program in international ballroom dance. It’s rather similar to salsa, but with more extensive movement and use of space. It could be characterized as playful, at-times dramatic but lively. Despite being a competitive dance style, cha-cha-cha is excellent for social dancing.

To join this workshop, you don’t need a pair. No special clothes required. Expect to sweat a bit. The workshop will be held in Bojan.

This workshop will be taught by Superform’s chairman Matti who has recently re-discovered the magic of dancing again after a lengthy break. Matti danced in the junior national team of Finland in ballroom and competed with his pair in several international ballroom competitions, e.g. placing second in the Blackpool Dance Festival.

This workshop is free of charge!

In collaboration with Bilda.
